How do I buy an e-book?

IU Press offers an increasing number of e-books. To see a complete list of available titles, visit our e-books page. When viewing the information page for a particular title on the IU Press website, the format information will specify whether the book is available as EPUB, PDF, or both.

E-books are delivered as a download in a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Safari, or Mozilla Firefox. Once the file is downloaded, it can be read on the computer or transferred to a reading device

Before purchasing your e-book, you need to have an e-book reader software application installed on your computer. Please review the Adobe Digital Editions Compatibility Chart to find out which e-book reader software is compatible with your computer or other reading device.
